Dave van Duynhoven

Dave is a multi-accredited accountant with extensive experience across both private practice and the multinational corporate sector in Canada, before relocating to the Cayman Islands in 2007.

Dave began his career on-island as Senior Chief Financial Officer within the Cayman Islands Government, before moving into the international administration and legal sectors in 2010. Prior to joining Trident Trust, he served as Managing Director of an international financial services and private wealth firm. He has also acted as an independent director for fund structures, foundation companies, and a variety of other client structures.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Ottawa and is a licensed Chartered Professional Accountant (Canada), Certified Public Accountant (USA), and Chartered Global Management Accountant (USA). He is also an Accredited Director with the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada, a Registered Director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, and a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Public Accountants, the Cayman Islands Directors Association and the Cayman Islands Compliance Association.
