Cayman Islands Beneficial Ownership Regime Changes 23/04/2020 On 1 July 2017 the Cayman Islands beneficial ownership regime (“BO Regime”) came into force, requiring Cayman Islands companies, limited liability companies and limited liability partnerships to establish and maintain beneficial ownership registers, unless they are able to claim exemption from the regime.
