Carly Thorpe

With over 25 years of experience in trust services, governance and offshore structuring, Carly specialises in family governance, asset protection, and estate planning for high-net-worth families in the Middle East.

Prior to joining Trident Trust, she held senior roles in the Middle East, Jersey and London, building extensive expertise in the establishment and administration of wealth and succession planning structures for international clients across a global range of domiciles.

Carly holds a Master's degree in Corporate Governance and is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute, a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, and an Affiliate of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and former Company Secretary of its Jersey Branch.

She is qualified in Family Business Advising, Corporate Governance and Islamic Finance, and has previously been commended by the Chartered Governance Institute for her work supporting family governance initiatives in the UAE.
