Mutual Funds (Foreign Funds) Regulations, 2019 in the BVI 17/06/2020 The Mutual Funds (Foreign Funds) Regulations, 2019 (the “Regulations”) is one of the many new pieces of fund legislation that enhance the fund regime in the British Virgin Islands (BVI). The Regulations create a supervisory regime for funds incorporated in foreign jurisdictions which are permitted to either carry on their business in or from within the BVI, or offer their shares to investors in the BVI.
