An Ecuadorian national, Juan Pablo has been working in the trust and financial services sector since 2009, focusing on the international asset protection, succession and wealth planning needs of high net worth families and businesses in Latin America. Prior to joining Trident Trust in 2021, Juan Pablo worked for a number of providers of fiduciary services specialising in Latin American clients.
Juan Pablo holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Universidad Catolica de Santiago de Guayaquil and a master’s degree in business administration from IDE Business School. He is also a qualified Trust & Estate Planning practitioner.
He is co-author of the Book “Gestion Patrimonial Familiar” (“Family Wealth Management”) published by the ICDT- Instituto Colombiano de Derecho Tributario y Aduanero (Colombian Tax Law Institute) and is Guest Professor of International Estate Planning for the Universidad de los Andes- Colombia.
