Biography
Shelly joined the BVI office in 2015, after working as an associate in a BVI law firm and having spent a decade as a diplomat in the Barbados Foreign Service prior to that. She is a barrister/attorney-at-law, called to the Bar in Barbados, the BVI and St Kitts and Nevis and also holds post-graduate and professional qualifications in management, compliance, mediation and arbitration. Shelly is a qualified trust and estates practitioner and was one of two recipients of the 2017 STEP Worldwide Excellence Award. In addition to providing guidance on legal matters to Trident Trust’s offices in the Caribbean, Shelly also sits on the Board of our Bahamas office.
