Cayman Islands Economic Substance Update

The Cayman Islands Tax Information Authority has issued updated Guidance Notes in relation to the jurisdiction’s economic substance legislation, replacing the previous Guidance. In addition, amendments have been made to the Economic Substance Law, culminating in the International Tax Co-operation (Economic Substance) Law, 2020 as amended.
