Ahmed Herrera
General Manager
Ahmed joined Trident Trust in 2022 as a lawyer in our Panama office and was promoted to General Manager in 2023. Prior to joining Trident, he spent a number of years in private practice working for law firms in Panama, focusing on providing legal advice on corporate and commercial law, as well as being a legal advisor to an independent member of the Panamanian Parliament, where he drafted several laws that are currently in place.
Ahmed is experienced in immigration law, intellectual property and estate planning, as well as the management of companies in numerous jurisdictions.
He obtained his Bachelor of Laws from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua and a Master of Laws in Corporate law from Alcalá de Henares University in Madrid, Spain. Ahmed was admitted to the Panamanian bar in 2009 and speaks fluent English and Spanish.
